Clerk API settings
Stored securely on the server and never shown again. Leave blank to keep the current key.
The Clerk blocks any IP that isn't on your developer account's authorized list (the cause of an “IP Not Authorized” error). Enable Static Outbound IPs on Railway (Pro plan → service → Networking) and authorize all 3 IPs with the Clerk. Use this to confirm the live one.
Step 1 — Find the case number

Search the Clerk's public records by party name, then copy the case number. Opens in a separate window so you can keep this app in view. (The Clerk requires the name search to be done by a person, so this step is manual.)

Step 2 — Paste the case number to pull its documents

Format: YYYY-NNNNNN-XX-NN (year · number · case type · location), e.g. 2021-005388-CA-01. Looking up uses ~2 units; each document ~1 unit (about $0.20).

Step 3 — Add this case to your portal
Saves the case and its full docket index to My Casesno unit charge. Download the actual document files afterward, only for what you need.

Look up an appellate case

Public appellate docket — no per-document charge. Enter the full case number, e.g. 3D2026-1325.

Search finding nothing? Look the case up by its portal link instead

The court's search answers some servers with an empty result — the same answer it gives for a case that isn't published, which is why the error can't tell you which happened. Open the case on acis.flcourts.gov in your own browser and paste the address here; the docket is fetched by id and skips the search.

Getting a block or error above? This court refuses cloud servers and proxies. Pull the documents from your own computer instead — it opens the case in a browser on your PC and uploads every document into My Cases.
Saved. One-time setup in a terminal: pip install playwright then playwright install chromium. Then run the file that just downloaded (python astraea_acis_puller_*.py). A browser opens — log in to ACIS when it asks, then press Enter in the terminal — and the documents are pulled into My Cases. Your login is remembered for next time.

Pull from the public docket

For the divisions the paid API doesn’t carry — probate, family, guardianship and the like. A small helper runs in your own browser, downloads the case’s documents from the free public docket, and files them into My Cases the same way. No per‑document charge.

You’ll get a small program. Run it once — it opens a browser, you navigate to the case’s docket page and press Enter, and it files every document into this case.

Roles: admin manages users, uploads, and Clerk fetches; attorney searches and downloads; viewer is read-only; client can only upload and view their own submissions for assigned cases. At least one active admin must always remain.
Case access: by default staff see all cases. Client accounts are always restricted; use Manage to assign their cases. Admins always see every case.

✒ Signature block

Fla. R. Gen. Prac. & Jud. Admin. 2.515 requires your individual name, Florida Bar number, mailing address, telephone number and the e-mail address designated for service on every filing you sign. A form cannot be rendered until these are on file. This is your own block — each attorney keeps their own, because signing a filing carries personal responsibility for it.

Record an action

Tag this action to the dictionary’s verb (e.g. Set hearing, Resolve motion). Powers the deadline/next‑step engines and analytics.
For an order/ruling: what it decided (e.g. Granted, Denied).
Use “to the right” when this action runs alongside the event it follows — e.g. a Notice of Joinder beside the return of service, or an amended filing beside the one it replaces. It sits off to the side (kept out of a straightened main line); the produced documents still stack directly under it.
Turn on for documents that are served (e.g. summonses). Leave off for motions, orders, notices, etc.
Documents produced by this action
Tick the documents this action produced, then attach each one's receipt / return of service (or leave it as “pending”).
Link to a prior filing (optional)
If this filing responds to an earlier one (e.g. a Motion to Dismiss answering the complaint) or supersedes/amends it (e.g. an amended motion replacing the prior). The link attaches to the first produced document above; for a supersede the flow points to this amended filing.
